Tableau Engineers have confirmed that the solution put in place to mitigate the issue causing Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server licensing issues was successful. This incident is now considered resolved.
An issue had been identified that had caused Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud Desktop Client users to be unable to validate their license due to a issue experienced while refreshing their Server ATR lease.
If you are experiencing this issue, please reapply the license, then restart the servers if needed, and the environments should be functional.
Tableau Engineers have implemented a solution to mitigate the issue causing Tableau Desktop users to be unable to activate using Login-Based License Management, and Tableau Server users experiencing an unlicensed server due to Server ATR lease not refreshing.
