Tableau Engineers have confirmed that the solution put in place to mitigate the issue that was causing some connections to PostgreSQL and Amazon Athena databases to fail in Tableau Online was successful. This incident is now considered resolved.

Tableau Engineers are investigating a potential issue within Tableau Online that may be causing an impact for our users. Impacted users will not be able to use Tableau Prep when connecting to PostgreSQL databases, or Amazon Athena in AWS. We have identified the cause of the issue and are actively working to mitigate the problem. We thank you for your patience; our next update will be when new information becomes available.
