The Tableau Online - Europe - Ireland (EW1A) environment scheduled maintenance on Monday, March 15th from 23:00 UTC until Tuesday, March 16th at 04:00 UTC has been postponed. Going forward, we are updating our communications policy to be more clear about updates that will not require downtime (most product updates do not) and those that have direct customer impact. The following changes have gone into effect: 1. Upgrades that REQUIRE scheduled downtime will be posted to the Tableau Trust page. This matches our practice today. 2. For upgrades and maintenance that have NO downtime, we will no longer post maintenance notifications to the Tableau Trust page or send email communications directly to site administrators. During upgrades without downtime, such as Tableau's quarterly upgrades, the system remains available for all users. For future upgrades (2021.2 and beyond), Tableau Online customers will be notified about upcoming Tableau Online quarterly upgrades via an in-product notification no less than two weeks before the upgrade (Please note that for the 2021.1 release, this window may be shorter than two weeks). Additionally, customers will receive an in-product notification upon the upgrade's completion.
